Why a National Carrier in Asia Pacific approached DTT

A major airline in Asia Pacific approached DTT to develop a national Financial and Accounting system. Our development team was selected based on our technical expertise in Oracle data base administration and experience in managing large-scale projects.

DTT Solution

Our approach was to develop an integrated revenue and accounting system based on Oracle applications to track the Airlines domestic and international revenues, linking all internal business processes (Marketing Promotions, Sales Revenues, Flight Scheduling, Ticketing Systems, Purchasing, Accounts Payables and Receivables, Tax Modules, etc.), and providing performance metrics and reports to executive management.

The system developed was one of the largest Oracle systems in the country at the time in terms of number of users, database size and performance demand (high availability and reliability, amount of data and number of interfaces to internal and external systems supported).

Working closely with the Customer’s Corporate IT and Oracle consultants, DTT had contributed to the on-time and on-budget development of the Customer’s mission critical applications.
