Why the Ministry of Education of a Government in Asia Pacific approached DTT

DTT was awarded a government project by the local Ministry of Education and Training to develop a complete Education and Human Resource Management Information System including hardware and software. The selection was based on our highly skilled development resources and our ability to manage large-scale projects.

DTT Solution

Our approach was to develop a system that provided an integrated dashboard at the Ministry of Education level. We created user groups from different provinces which provided valuable feedback during the design phase, and throughout the project lifecycle. Our development methodology was to release early and release often (a version was released every week to get user feedback).

Benefits Delivered

The system was developed by a team of 30 software engineers and completed on time. The project successfully imported 10 GB of old data to the new system, and was deployed to 64 provinces throughout the country. The system allows the government to have a consolidated view on the availability, utilization and performance of all educational and training resources throughout the country to achieve operational excellence.
